The innovative applications of Acme in magnesium alloy products

In the field of traditional manufacturing, due to the relatively active chemical properties of magnesium alloy products, they are prone to chemical reactions with oxygen and water in the air, and the requirements for production and manufacturing are more stringent. Therefore, magnesium alloy solutions are usually not chosen.       Through a profound understanding of the new national standard for electric vehicles, Aikemi decided to launch magnesium alloy products to replace plastic parts, so as to simultaneously meet the mandatory requirements of the new national standard for lightweight and flame retardancy.       For years, Acme has been deeply engaged in the die - casting and processing of aluminum alloy product molds. Based on these experiences, combined with the requirements of the new national standard and taking into account the application scenarios of customers, we have optimized the product design several times and carried out multiple rounds of simulation and mold flow analysis. Finally, we decided to make the product thickness between 1.2 and 1.8 mm, which significantly reduces the product weight and material cost. In the second half of last year, we processed a complete set of magnesium alloy product samples according to the latest design and verified that they can meet the requirements of customers. Currently, our company is refining the mold plan, and mass production is expected to be achieved by the second half of this year.       China has the richest reserves of magnesium ore globally, accounting for more than one - third. With the further promotion of magnesium alloy products and the further improvement of the magnesium industry chain, the cost of magnesium alloy products will be further reduced, making them increasingly favored by various industries. Acme will also continue to conduct in - depth research on magnesium alloy product solutions to provide customers with more cost - effective magnesium alloy products.
